  • Enhance reading and mathematics attainment through targeted support and enrichment.
  • Integrate outdoor and cross-curricular and active learning across subjects.
  • Provide continuing professional development for  all staff in reflective and research-informed practice.
  • Implement peer observation cycles to share best practice and encourage professional growth.
  • Fully implement the Inclusion Toolkit to ensure participation of all learners.
  • Build partnerships with local organisations, parents, and the wider community.

 

 5-Year Goals (2029) 

 

  • Consistently achieve results above national averages.
  • Gain recognition as a centre of excellence for inclusion, wellbeing, and academic success.
  • Ensure every child achieves their potential and develops the skills for lifelong learning.
  • Create flexible, engaging learning spaces indoors and outdoors.
  • Develop a generation of pupils who leave Hawthorn as confident, curious, and compassionate learners.
